just a bit about me…

I’m passionate about my faith and follow the teachings of an ancient Middle Eastern mystic who taught the most excellent way of love. My on-going journey to step more into who I was created to be in the Living God is lived out through creative expression and spiritual formation.

With an artistic spirit at heart, I love to sing, write, and create through various mediums. Other things I love: good food, good wine, good people, and good laughs.

I’ve been writing poetry for nearly 30 years of my life and view poetry as creating a work of art. Carefully piecing together words to paint a picture – acknowledging both the beautiful and the broken of our messy world, and then artistically imagining a better future and bringing that New Creation reality into the now. Through my poetry, it’s my hope to bring the beauty, peace, justice, and love of our Creator into our world.
